I Built This Because I Lived It.

Everything I build comes from what I lived

My story isn’t unusual. Thousands of young athletes and their families go through the same moments I went through. The same challenges. The same hard conversations. The same doubt.

I was fortunate to have a strong family support system — but we didn’t have a road map. There was no one to guide us through the hard moments. No playbook for what to do when things got difficult or for navigating new situations.

I built Foster Forward because I understand that struggle. I understand the faith, the commitment, and the support it takes to persevere and achieve your goals.

This is where it started.

Nobody prepares you or your family for those moments.

Keeping Me On Track

When I was young I had parents, teachers, and coaches keeping me on track.

A schedule. A standard. People who showed up for me and held me accountable. I had structure built around me — and I didn’t have to think about it. It was just the life I lived.

College was the same. The schedule was built in. The coaches set the standard. The team created the accountability. Then college ended.

And I realized — for the first time — that I could no longer rely on other people to keep me on track.

I had to do it myself.

I knew that if I wanted to achieve my goals — I had to build my own structure.

Nobody was going to do it for me anymore.

The Journal

Journaling became one of the most important tools in my personal journey.

It gave me structure. It helped me reflect on my choices — what was working and what wasn’t. It helped me manage my nutrition, my time, and my routines.

But more than anything — it played a critical role in my mindset. Writing things down made me see myself clearly. My habits. My patterns. My progress. The things I said I wanted to do — and whether I was actually doing them.

That clarity changed everything.

The Foster Forward Journal was built from that experience.

For You and Your Family

I know how difficult it is to become a Division I athlete. It is a commitment — from the player and from the family.

I also know that navigating the teenage years — the challenges, the pressure, the doubt — can be just as hard for parents as it is for kids.

You want to help. But sometimes you don’t know how.

To support you in getting the most out of the Foster Forward Journal — I also created The Forward Series. Four tools for parents. Practical conversation guides for the moments every family faces.

Because the journal works best when the family is in it together.

That’s what Foster Forward is built for. Not just the player. The whole family.

The Foster Forward System

Foster Forward is a complete system for young people and their families.

Built on three pillars — Your Thoughts Shape Your Life, Consistency Over Motivation, and Free Time Isn’t Free — it gives young people the habits, mindset, and process to navigate challenges and achieve their goals.

The Journal — The Player’s Playbook for Life. Five prompts. Five minutes. Every day. The daily practice that builds structure, reflection, and accountability.

The Forward Series — For Parents. Four conversation guides for the moments every family faces. Practical language for the hard conversations.

The Choice Challenge. A live experiential program that puts young people inside real moments — and teaches them how to respond with intention. Available through Victory4Kids.

Coaching and Speaking. Group coaching, one-on-one mentoring, and speaking engagements for schools, youth organizations, and corporate partners.

One system. Built for the player. Built for the family. Built from experience.

I wish I had this when I was coming up. I hope it makes a difference for your family.
